Terms of Service
Effective date: February 25, 2026
Forge of Holding is a web application for storing, viewing, and editing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition character data. By accessing or using the service at vault.r2plays.games, you agree to these Terms of Service.
You may use Forge of Holding to import character data from Foundry VTT, view and edit character sheets in your browser, share character sheets via generated links, and access your data programmatically through API keys.
You agree not to use the service to store content that violates applicable law, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Forge of Holding uses Firebase Authentication with Google OAuth for sign-in. When you create an account, we receive your Google display name, email address, and profile photo from Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
Each person should maintain only one account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Character data you import or create in Forge of Holding belongs to you. We store character JSON data on your behalf and do not claim ownership of your character sheets, notes, or other user-generated content.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee against data loss.
Forge of Holding provides API keys (prefixed with cvk_) that allow third-party applications such as the Character Vault Foundry VTT module to access your data on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret.
If you believe an API key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from the Settings page. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from shared or exposed API keys.
Dungeons & Dragons and all related content are property of Wizards of the Coast LLC. Forge of Holding is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. It is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
Forge of Holding is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FutureHax and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of Forge of Holding.
